What is Management in an Organization - 900 Words
Management is important because it is important aspect of the success and achievement of an organizationââ¬â¢s goals through a group of people. A skilled manager is not only capable of handling administrative activities, but is able to connect with and inspire their teammates in times of prosperity and times of change. In this essay, I begin by looking at the theoretical aspects of management and how it is a product of the relevant time period, before going into my own personality and background, and analyse whether I have what it takes to be a manager in this rapidly changing world. Management is the art of getting things done through and with people in formally organized groups and creates an environment in which people can perform as individuals and yet cooperate to reach an organizationââ¬â¢s goals (Koontz, 1962). By allocating scarce resources towards these goals, setting priorities and designing work, strategies are developed and results are achieved through the motivating and rewarding of people to do the work (Toor and Ofori, 2008). Kramer (1975: 47) defined a management idea as a fairly stable body of knowledge about what managers ought to do to achieve goals with and through people (Huczynski, 1993). These theories are a product of its cultural environment and found its roots in the evolving ideas about the economic and human problems facing organizations at the time (Huczynski, 1993), and have in turn contributed to contemporary management thinking. The legal safety criterion determines when a workplace is regarded as ââ¬Å"safeâ⬠or ââ¬Å"safe as far as reasonably practicableâ⬠. This question is completely separate from any goal set by the employer. In other words, even if an employer does not achieve its own safety goal, such fact does not mean that the workplace was ââ¬Å"unsafeâ⬠or not ââ¬Å"safe as far as reasonably practicable. In order to be meaningful, a safety objective must refer not only to a fatality or a lost time injury rate, but also to a time period to which it applies. Such objective should be realistic and achievable. Zero risk is a physically impossibility. However, it is sound policy to set targets for improving safety, but these targets have to be achievable and reasonably practicable. 45. In conclusion, cooperation between the employers and the employees are very important to ensure the safe and healthy at the workplace. the employers should knows their duty of care to their employees and the employees themselves should knows their responsibilities on their job. Without the cooperation, the safe and healthy environment at the workplace could not achieve.

If the student does not understand the format, then he or she may have trouble writing a good evaluation. However, it is much easier than it seems, especially if the student has some knowledge of the format. The first thing that a student should do in order to write an MLA format evaluation essay is to know how many words it should contain. Most courses require that the word limit be four thousand words. This is a very strict minimum, and it is common for students to exceed this word limit on their final draft. There are several ways of figuring out the exact word limit for a document. One way is to look at the title of the course, which is usually the first word of the document. If the title is only one word long, then it is best to use a minimum of two thousand words on the evaluation.Another way to determine the word count is to make sure that the student nee ds to write about a particular topic. If the student is required to write about a certain topic, then the topic should be included at the end of the document. The format for an evaluation does not need to be overly complicated, but it does need to be clear and concise. Even with only a few paragraphs, there are many things that a student can write about, and the more he or she can write about the more experience he or she will be able to claim. Finally, a student will need to make sure that he or she is able to relate the topic to the subject matter of the course. Many courses ha ve a particular subject that students must be familiar with in order to graduate. All important things in life begin with a question, and in evaluating the subject matter of a project, this is as true as it is for all questions. One of the things that makes the evaluation essay so successful is that there is no right or wrong answer, but there is always an opinion.Since the evaluation essay is meant to determine what the student thinks about the work, it is important to have a certain level of expertise in the field. The evaluation should be objective, so that a student can be sure that the results of the evaluat ion are not biased by the opinions of another student.
